The Strengths and Values of Adobe

Adobe: It’s History In Their Own Words

Adobe Inc., founded in 1982, is one of the world’s biggest and most diverse tech companies. Creative practitioners, such as photographers, video producers, designers, and engineers, as well as communicators, such as content makers, educators, advertisers, and information staff, and companies of all sizes, use our products and services.

Adobe also collaborates with customers to help them develop, maintain, distribute, calculate, refine, connect, and transact with engaging content and services through personal computers, devices, and media.

Our sales team and strategic field offices sell our goods and services directly to corporate customers.

Our goods are accessible to end users through app stores and our own website, www.adobe.com. Many of our offerings are available as Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) or managed services (both referred to as hosted or cloud-based), as well as word subscription and pay-per-use models.

We often partner with a network of dealers, value-added resellers (VARs), systems integrators (SIs), independent software vendors (ISVs), suppliers, software engineers, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to supply those goods and services.

Our technology is now licensed to hardware makers, software developers, and service providers for use in their products and solutions. Depending on the product, our products run on personal and server-based servers, as well as smartphones, laptops, and other handheld devices. The Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (“EMEA”), and Asia-Pacific (“APAC”) are where we work.

Adobe Business Segments and Value Prop In Their Own Words

Adobe’s technologies have revolutionized how people, teams, companies, and policymakers connect and communicate with their constituents in print and online for more than 35 years. We assist our customers in designing and providing the most engaging products in seamless workflows, as well as refining those experiences for higher ROI.

Across channels and platforms, anywhere and wherever, our solutions turn ordinary encounters into meaningful multimedia experiences.

While we continue to offer a broad portfolio of products, services and solutions, we focus our investments in two strategic growth areas: Digital Media – providing products, services and solutions that enable individuals, teams and enterprises to create, publish and promote their content anywhere and accelerate their productivity by modernizing how they view, share and engage with documents and creative content.

Photographers, video editors, graphic and experience designers, and software and game developers are among our clients, as are communicators such as content makers, teachers, advertisers, and information professionals who produce, cooperate on, and deliver documentation and artistic content, as well as users.

This has been at the heart of what we’ve done for decades, and we’ve developed our business model to provide a variety of Table of Contents 3 scalable solutions that empower our customers to achieve their maximum creative capacity at any moment, on any platform, and on any project.

Digital Experience – Adobe Experience Cloud offers a robust and interconnected architecture as well as a range of apps and services that allow brands and companies of all sizes to build, handle, implement, measure, monetize, and maximize consumer interactions spanning analytics to commerce.

Marketers, advertisers, sponsors, newspapers, merchandisers, merchants, site researchers, computer scientists, engineers, marketers, knowledge management and infrastructure executives, product creation executives, and distribution and service executives are among our clients.

The Adobe Experience Framework, which underpins Adobe Experience Cloud, is a transparent and extensible platform for customer experience management that turns customer data into real-time robust customer accounts and uses artificial intelligence (“AI”)-driven insights to allow the delivery of customized digital interactions in milliseconds.

We help our consumers more reliably and easily make, maintain, measure, and monetize their content through platforms and devices with an end-to-end workflow and feedback loop by integrating the imagination of our Digital Marketing industry with the science of our Digital Experience offerings.

Our goal to transform the world through digital interactions has never been more important, as people explore new ways to connect, learn, and transact business digitally. We believe we are ideally placed to be a pioneer in both the Digital Media and Digital Experience industries.

Our consumers will benefit from a full suite of technologies and services that no other organization currently delivers by merging goods from each of these regions.

Furthermore, Adobe’s ability to drive creativity and efficiency enhancements through consumer workflows including the production, management, distribution, evaluation, and enhancement of engaging content places us in a good position as our customers continue to engage in digital interactions.

Digital Networking, Digital Experience, and Publishing and Advertisement are the three reportable divisions of our business. These divisions give Adobe’s senior management a full financial image of the company’s core businesses. Adobe educates its clients through a direct salesforce, marketing, and recorded webinars.

Our divisions are structured around our two strategic growth opportunities, which are further outlined below, with our Publishing and Advertising sector grouped along with some of our legacy products and solutions in a third section.

We shifted our Adobe Advertising Cloud offerings from our Digital Engagement division to our Publishing and Advertising segment in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2020 in order to better match our Digital Experience sector with our strategic growth goals.
