If you love 3D print projects and want to decorate your home with some useful and beautiful 3D models, here is the list of 20 small things that can be easily printed and placed around your home.

When you are new to 3D printing, it is a very exciting chapter and you want to print all the things! One piece of fun is making small things and then seeing the real-life object come out of the printer, rewarding you for your hard work. Printing small things can also be an easy project to learn some techniques and processes.

Here are five simple and fun things for your little maker to 3D print. These can be done with very little supervision. Sometimes all that is needed, is to convince them it’s “easy and fun” (while occasionally supplying some necessary assistance).

With a 3D printer and free plans on the Internet, you can easily 3D print all sorts of things around the house.

#1: Doorknob Hanger

Doorknob hangers are small things to 3D print. They can be used to hang towels and other items on your doorknob. Or they can be used as a keychain.

The first thing you will need is the files for the doorknobs. I have attached them below along with the STL file for the keychain.

The next step is to load them into your favorite 3D printing software and scale them based on the size of your printer. The files I am using are scaled at 1x1x1 inches, which means they should work on most printers. If you do not have access to a 3D printer, you can also use Shapeways or immaterialize to print these items for you.

Once you have scaled all of your parts (there are only two), it is time to print! I printed both parts in ABS plastic at 100% infill with no supports needed. Although if you wanted support material for the keychain part that would be fine too.

#2: Wrench Organizer

The Wrench Organizer is a 3D-printed tool that holds up to six wrenches. It has a large base to keep it from tipping over if the user bumps it and a handle for easy carrying. The organizer can be used in any garage, workshop, or tool shed.

  1. Download the file and print all the pieces by following the instructions in the settings of your 3D printer. You can change the size of the organizer by changing the scale of the model before printing. If you’re using a different printer, make sure that your settings match what’s described in this post before printing.
  2. Once you’ve printed everything, assemble it by gluing together each piece with acetone or super glue. I used super glue because it doesn’t require heat to cure. So I could use my hand as a clamp while waiting for each layer to dry overnight instead of having to wait for an entire day as normal glues do!

If you’re looking for a way to organize your small tools, look no further! This wrench organizer will keep your wrenches in place and make them easy to access. The design is simple and compact, so you can use it almost anywhere—even if you have limited space.

This design is made of four parts: the base, which holds all of your wrenches securely; the supports that hold up each wrench; the shafts that connect each support to the base; and finally, the wrench itself. Each part was printed separately and then assembled using super glue.

#3: Key Chains

If you have an old car, maybe you want a new keychain that has the logo on it. Maybe you just want something extra special with your name on it so everyone knows who they’re dealing with. That’s where our key chain comes in handy! It’s small enough to fit in any pocket or purse. But still big enough for people to see what’s going on when they look at it. Just think about how much easier it will be now that no one will have any trouble finding their keys!

Keychains are an easy way to add some flair to your keys or bag. And they are also useful for holding small items like car keys, USB drives, and other small metal objects.

Here are some of our favorite keychains that you can 3D print:

-A fun keychain with a dinosaur shape

-A cute cat keychain that doubles as a bottle opener

-An alien keychain that looks like it’s from outer space

#4: Cookie Cutter
These are small, simple shapes that can be used to make cookies in the shape of a particular object. For example, a Christmas tree or a heart. If you want to make cookies that look like something other than a cookie-cutter shape (e.g., a mouse), then you will need to use 3D modeling software and print it out in plastic or resin.
#5: Measuring Spoons

The measuring spoons are small things to 3d print. These are very important because you can use them to measure out different foods and ingredients. They’re also great for cooking and baking, so if you like to make your own meals at home or if you’re a professional chef, then these measuring spoons would be a great addition to your kitchen.

The set comes in 5 different sizes: 1/4 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, 1 teaspoon, 1 tablespoon, and 1/4 cup. You can use these spoons for measuring just about anything from liquids like water or oil to dry ingredients like salt or sugar! The best part about them is that they’re made out of plastic so they’re easy to clean and dishwasher safe too!

There are many small things you can 3D print for around your house or workplace, and some of them will be very cheap and make your life a whole lot easier.

If you are on a budget and find yourself needing these kinds of things then give some of them a try. The cheapest and easiest way to do it is to just go onto Thingiverse and download what you want, you don’t even have to make an account. If you don’t like the design or don’t think it’s perfect then change the parameters to your liking before printing it. – https://www.3dnatives.com/en/top-10-popular-amazon-3d-printers-23112018/
